Designers

A graphic designer is a professional within the graphic design and graphic arts industry who assembles together images, typography or motion graphics to create a particular design.  A graphic designer develops visual information for print media, advertisements and the Internet.  The main responsibility of the designer is to present information in a way that is both accessible and memorable.  Graphic design is sometimes called “visual communications.”  The designer incorporates the words and images into a complete visual message.

Graphic designers provide designs for business cards, letterhead and postcards. Graphic designers also create specialized print products, such as trade-show banners, book covers and page layouts.  Graphic designers develop logos for companies to create corporate identification for marketing purposes.  Graphic designers work directly with marketing teams to fulfill visual projects for advertising in print media.
